I provide an environment for free play, also organized activities that develops the Whole Child:
Fine motor skills
Gross Motor Skills
Mathematical Skills
Auditory Skills
Language and Thinking Skills
I believe children learn through playing, observing, exploring and experimenting. My goal is to meet each child’s social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs. The children will take part in various activities such as crafts, songs, games, story time and more.
Reading is very important and the children will always have plenty of books to look at and listen to. In addition, we will be making trips to the library.
I will provide activities that encourage learning of letter, shape, color and number recognition, as well as learning how to print their name.
Children under the age of five will have a daily quiet time, which means they will either nap or be quietly relaxing and reading a book. Children who wake up before the rest will be guided in finding a quiet time activity to engage in that will not disturb any sleeping children.

My home is a pet friendly home. We have fish, and a goldendoodle dog that is non-shedding.
My basement is designated for a dayhome only space, the children do not go in my main living area upstairs. In the basement there is a large playroom, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. All the lighting are natural sunlight bulbs.
The shelving has all my activities for fine motor, and other developmental items, idea books, play dough. We have a light table, sensory table. The children love setting up the dollhouse or playing dressup. A new addition is our loft which this kids love the cozy spaces it has provided.
My yard is a very large, fenced area with the ground level "treehouse", a huge 12 ft wooden train, including a slide. We have large building blocks, water wall, music area, sand table and a ton of other toys - tonka, etc. The yard has a large "maze" garden where we learn about growing food we eat. We are within walking distance to the library, splash park, sledding hill and at least 5 playgrounds.
